Designing brands, one pixel at a time.

Neoteric Studios is a one-man design studio that serves as a personal portfolio to showcase my best work. The brand is built on minimal, clean design principles, with a dark background that allows each project to stand out. As a designer, I deal with pixels, vectors, and typography daily, and I wanted the design to reflect that focus, keeping the aesthetic sharp and precise.

Purple is my primary brand colour—it’s bright, bold, and less commonly used, making it perfect for highlighting key elements throughout my work. The smiley face symbol reflects my friendly, upbeat personality, and emphasises the idea that great design has the power to make people smile.

The brand identity and website are built on a flexible grid system with even columns, providing structure and consistency throughout. This ensures a cohesive, professional appearance across all pages and elements, allowing the design to stay aligned and visually balanced.

Using this grid system also allows the brand to easily adapt and change sections as needed, ensuring the design performs well for visitors. This flexibility ensures the brand can evolve and optimise the user experience.

The design approach deliberately avoids a rigid grid structure, opting instead for a scattered layout that feels structured but flexible. This allows the designs to breathe, giving ample space where needed and using negative space thoughtfully. This flexible arrangement ensures each element has room to stand out without feeling confined to a strict grid.
